peace on earth by j image

I’ve been busy and neglectful of this blog, but it is what it is. When I saw this photo from Jim with the simple title of peace, I thought it would be great to share with you. He writes:

peace - n. [pees]
1. a state of mutual harmony between people or groups; esp. in personal relations
2. the normal, nonwarring condition of a nation or the world

I hope that you enjoy great harmony in all your relations in the coming years, and also that we soon come as a nation and as a world to a state of peace.

I also hope that you take some time to look through Jim’s photos and make them a regular stop. Trust me, you will be happier and more at peace if you do.

One ADAM-12, we have an origins episode in progress, over

ADAM-12

Lifehacker - which seems to have the goal of increasing productivity so that they can then destroy it
with links like this, has a post about OPENhulu:

You may have already heard of Hulu, a closed beta, on-demand TV service from NBC Universal and News Corp. designed to stream the latest new shows from NBC, Fox, Bravo, Sci Fi, and more YouTube-style. But you may not have heard of OpenHulu, a Hulu clone that’s attempting to embed every video from Hulu (which is part of how Hulu is designed to work) so you don’t need an invitation to Hulu to enjoy the free, on-demand TV.

You can go watch Adam-12 - Log 1: The Impossible Mission or find a bunch more shows at OPENhulu.

I have to thank The Real Ferg for the photo processing idea.

Punch your ticket for the Global Warming Lottery

December 11, 2007 at 7:50 am (economy, environment, government, questions, self-destruct-mechanism-activated, video, world)

An interesting reframing of the question on whether to act or not on global warming via YouTube. Warning: includes a sissy Pollyanna Al Gore reference.

The IT Crowd

December 9, 2007 at 8:48 am (computers, media, video, work)

Well this is pretty funny (minor f-bomb warning). This machine is cool too. The IT Crowd is a production of Channel 4 in the UK.

I don’t seem to have a channel 4 on my TV yet…

This photo of Whaleback and South & North Manitou is from my twelve photoset.

I borrowed the idea from jamelah.
