We Feel Fine … the Most Amazing Thing, Online

IN DESERT/ STRANGE FEELINGS

We Feel Fine: An exploration of human emotion, in six movements
by Jonathan Harris and Sepandar Kamvar

I'm not kidding with the title. "We Feel Fine" is a web-creation that towers so far above anything I've ever seen as to be in a class by itself. It's by the same person who did yesterday's 10×10, and it harvests feelings from blogs and then classifies them according to a range of schema (feeling, age, gender, location and time). How do 60 year old women in Florida feel today? Are people feeling good or bad in Canada? The answers to questions like these is just a click away.

I feel very grateful to the people who built We Feel Fine.

If you think there’s something more amazing, I’d love to have a link to it!

Not sure if you will allow this but will you tell people about my website: My1Hope.com

My website http://www.my1hope.com was originally designed for people throughout the world to share hopeful words–however, women started posting things of concern and before I realized what was happening, it became a place where women could share words of encouragement. The site is 60-days old… and thousands of people (mostly women) have posted words of encouragement that range from… Domestic Abuse (Physical, Sexual, and Mental) to struggles of being molested/raped as a child… Long story short it is a place of hope… or a vessel to reach others and let them know they are not alone…in their struggle.

Therefore, I am asking the Online Community to give 30 seconds of their life and write something that might help someone else… Once you go to the site? Click the Stars (You will B Pleasantly Surprized).

That is great G! Very cool!

In other news, I get a little sad when I see how few people have read this compared to say Steve Nash’s Haircut Panic (which admittedly is pretty awesome).

But really, We Feel Fine is super-amazing and My1Hope is too.
