The Obligatory First Post, Posted Second for Edginess
When starting a blog, the convention is to write a First Post that tells who you are and the whys and whats of the fantastic blog to come.
You do this for the sake of the reader (who is apparently presumed to be sitting on
your shoulder, anxiously awaiting your next move). So, dear reader, without further delay…
The First Post
I work as a web designer. For the last 10+ years, I have spent the majority my waking life, 6 days a week, 10+ hours a day online. I’m married, have two kids and live in (and love) Michigan. I manage a photo blog and a large number of web sites. It seems like the last thing I need is another thing to do online.
If I had to strip everything away to level with you about why I’m writing this, I would say to have a place where I can say whatever I want about whatever I want.
Fortunately, I don’t have to level with you and can spend my time distracting you with cool things I find in the internet.
